When you sign up, we ask for an alias, and your email address. For security purposes, we do NOT display your email address with your profile to inhibit those who would cull our email addresses for spamming purposes.

We ask for your real first name for our records only. Optionally, you may input your real last name. However, neither of these are ever displayed with your profile or shown to anyone. We never ask for your phone or address. We do ask for City and State, but you may choose to include a large city nearby. We ask for zip code in the U.S. to allow you to perform a zip code radius search. The zip code is not displayed.

We retrieve your IP address and log it with your record. This is used to help us track those who would join our site from IP addresses that have been used by known scammers. This is another way we try to protect you, by tracking and not allowing scammers to use our web site.

Updating Account Information
We allow you to change or correct your personal information at any time. To do so, simply log into our web site, go to the Profile tab, and you will be able to edit the information you have submitted.

Online Order Security
Our staff members will never ask for your credit card information. If you choose to submit an online payment via credit card, you will be sent to Verisign's or PayPal's secure servers where you will submit your credit card information confidentially between them and you. Your complete card number is never revealed to us. Verisign and PayPal will return a copy of your receipt to us, with the information you submitted with your card payment, but it will not include your card number or expire date.

When you place an order online at Verisign or PayPal, your personal details and credit card information are scrambled using SSL encryption technology before being sent over the Internet. SSL makes it very difficult for your information to be stolen or intercepted while being transferred. Our Credit Card transactions are maintained by a company called Verisign (http://www.verisign.com) or optionally, PayPal, whichever link you choose to pay through. All information entered via Verisign and PayPal is encrypted, which will protect it against disclosure to third parties.
