I will be praying that God will give her the strength to break off the relationship. God does not wish for any of His children to be abused. He will supply her with a Kind and loving Christian who does not believe in abuse.

My prayers go out to your friend! It is always easier seeing the problem from the 'outside'. Watching your friend go through this has to be difficult, but being a support to her both physically and spiritually might allow her to have her eyes opened to what is best in her life. God does not want anyone to endure abuse of any kind. It's in realizing our own value and self-esteem that we find strength enough to make the right decision. I have walked this walk.........took me 21 years to say 'no more' to the abuse. I too knew of the problem before the wedding, but felt 'if he loved me enough, it would change'. This, of course, is not clear thinking. My heart and prayers go out to you and your friend. May God's will be done!

Please pray for Jamie as she makes a difficult decision to let go of her abusive fiance or marry him as planned. We hope the lets him go as he has already become physical with her! Please ask God to help her make the right decision!
