Sweet Child of GOD,
I know it is hard to forgive yourself, I've been on the same road. We all fall short of HIS glory. But you are right, the hardest thing to do is forgive yourself. But JESUS said to forgive others their trespasses so that we may be forgiven. "others" includes YOU! Allow me to suggest to grieve your loss, one last time, & ask to be forgiven & to forgive yourself. You are a child of GOD & can be forgiven. No matter how great you think that sin is, it's not greater than the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Your sin was against you. You can & are forgiven, by the precious blood of JESUS. May the peace of GOD be with you.

Once you have repented and truly given it over to God, He wipes the slate clean for you. The one who creates the guilty feelings is the devil. He doesn't want for you to let it go because he wants you to feel worthless and believe that you are not worthy of God's forgiveness. But, as a child of the King, you ARE worthy through the blood of Jesus Christ. Yes, we sin and have to live with the consequences, but God has designed a plan for us that includes His forgiveness and unwavering love for us. Be comforted and know that God loves you and accepts your repentance. I will keep this in my prayers.

Hello sister,
I must congratulate you for your honesty and will pray that you understand what confession really is.If you can just read 1John 1:9 and beleive forgiveness is from Christ to a sincere confessor,then you need no longer be in panic,except otherwise.

I have something that has been on my heart for many years..I have never confessed this to anyone but Jesus..Many years ago I cheated on my husband of 12 years..Thus this led up to myself filing for divorce..I have prayed and asked for forgiveness hundreds of times and I have also confessed and asked for forgiveness from my x husband. Yes he has forgiven me and he has moved on. We remain with a decent relationship because we have children together.
I cant help but feeling that my life has been on a up hill struggle ever since those many years ago. I have had nothing but heart ache and loss. Many relationships that did not work out for one reason or another. I have come to give my life over to Jesus 4 years ago but still I am unable to forgive myself and feel much guilt for what I have done and the effects it has had on the children.
I cant say that I know how to move forward from this and not feel worthless. Please if you would pray for me.
