I detect pain and hopelessness. I can feel it. I'm praying for you. I want you to get what you deserve. Just know that everything happens for a reason and its going to be o.k.

Rest assured you are not the only one. I do not smoke, I thought those that checked my profile ducked out because of my age and kids. So there are lots of "reasons" not just the smoking. I pray for those that suffer through this struggle as I too at one time worked at quitting. I thank God and Praise his name the battle is won at least for now. Be encouraged as your relationship with Jesus is the most important thing you can have in your life. I found reading my Bible helped me lots. Sometimes just holding the Bible to my chest and crying out for the Spirit to pray in my behalf was all I could do. Will keep you uplifted in prayers. May God Bless you. VK

I had this done a little over two years ago and it was $299.00 for one treatment. This covered a second treatment within six months, if needed, and as many five minutes relaxation treatments as needed. also within six months. The second treatment was free whether you needed it or not; whether you started smoking again or not. The five minute relaxation treatments were free as long as you had NOT started smoking again. You know when you get that antsy feeling? Than you would call the clinic and they would get you in no matter what as long as you had not lit up. I didn't need the second treatment or any of the relaxation treatments (Praise the Lord!) Believe me. I had tried just about everything. I believe God led me to this. He gives us the victory and will lead us to what we need to claim that victory is His name. Praise Him! I will add you to my prayer list. I have other friends that are battling this addiction, too. I feel prayer is one of the best weapons that God has given us and that when others pray for us, we become stronger in our resolve to do what God wants and to overcome the addictions that keep us from all He has for us. You go, sister! This treatment may seem a little pricy, but I would have spent way more money on cigarettes than $299.00 dollars in the last two years. It pays for itself in so many ways. God be with you.

Is that laser smoking cessation expensive? I'm interested in looking into it. I not only want to quit for my health, but it's a waste of money.

I totally agree with the fact about being honest and real on the profiles. I would much rather put everything about myself out on the table vs. keeping things from people on this dating site. I consider that as being dishonest, and having a fear of no one liking me for the woman that God made me to be. All born-again Christians are new creations in Christ. If people are too judgmental/critical about me, then I don't want them in my life as a friend. That is not walking in love. I too am a smoker, and I do want to quit. Not all things happen in our time. With experience in addictions, I know that my heart has to be prepared to surrender this addiction to God, I have to quit for myself and out of obedience and love for God, and go completely humbly to our God for the strength to quit and stay quit. People who never had an addiction don't have a clue. I have seen Christian non-smokers marry Christian smokers, so don't let that get you down. If someone truly loves you, they will accept you for who you are. They will also be supportive and patient with the smoking issue, and pray for you if they love you. I struggled with that issue not too long ago. I decided that I am who I am, and if someone doesn't like me for who I am, then they can go on with their lives. God knows our hearts and our desires. I believe that He puts some desires in our hearts. As for me, I need to be more patient, and learn to trust in God's perfect timing in all areas of my life.
